This is a special print release by DeeDee to celebrate the mural that was completed this summer for the Wooden Walls Project on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.
“In honor of this lovely summer in Asbury Park, I wanted to release this print as a memento. A singular exact color version of my Wooden Walls mural on the Boardwalk” -DeeDee
“Asbury Belle” is a signed & numbered edition of 15 in green, 1 color silkscreen ink, 6 color spray paint. Size is 22 x30″ on Stonehenge 250gsm paper.
Dee Dee is a New York City based street artist who uses collage, paint and silkscreen to bring surreal and cinematic daydreams and nightmares to life. It is in that world – between sleep and dream, between the surface and subconscious – where the viewer is invited to enter. The work encapsulates themes of the seen and unseen, the hidden and the revealed, the masks we wear and ones we choose to remove.
*Artist note: “Each print is spray painted by hand. Due to the way I paint and conditions inside my studio each print is a bit unique. Prints may contain various drips, fingerprints, cobwebs, fragments of autumn leaves and the occasional wayward spider. Each is slightly unique due to the light sun drop splatter on them”
