Group Exhibition February 4, 2012 – March 4, 2012
On Saturday, February 4, Parlor Gallery presents the opening reception of our new group show “Pink Noise.”
“Pink Noise” is an exploration in the overlap of visual art and music. All of the artists in this show are inspired by music to create their artwork. Many of the “Pink Noise” artists have made their living in the music industry. Some highlights of the show include Mark Mothersbaugh (of DEVO)’s radical rugs, Thom Lessner’s humorous illustrations of hair metal bands, and Asbury Park’s Mike McLaughlin’s stunning photographs of chaotic mosh pits.
Artists in this show include Mark Mothersbaugh, Mike Ski, Thom Lessner, Mike McLaughlin, Heather Gabel, Daniel Elden, Alexandre Boisseau, Ryan Cronin, Terry Griffiths, Robert Piersanti, Thomas Meyers, and Midwest Pressed.
