On Saturday, August 11, Parlor Gallery is pleased to present the opening reception of our new group exhibition “Fortune Favors The Bold.” This group show explores art that evokes the fun and bizarre nature of the circus. Based on circus imagery, including freak show oddities such as conjoined twins and gaff taxidermy, the diverse works showcase many aspects of the jubilant yet strange energy of carnival life.
